Ini Daftar Lengkap Nominasi Golden Globes 2021

Matamata.com - Golden Globes ke-78 ada puluhan nominasi yang diperebutkan para sineas Amerika Serikat. Netflix, mendominasi beberapa kategori  termasuk deretan film yang tayang di platform tersebut.

Ajang yang akan memberikan penghargaan kepada insan pertelevisian dan film Amerika Serikat ini siap digelar di The Bevery Hilton, California pada Minggu, 28 Februari 2021 waktu setempat.

Pandemi virus corona memang 'memaksa' film yang rilis di bioskop dialihkan ke platform digital. Banyak film yang tayang perdana justru tayang secara streaming.

Deretan film yang bersaing sengit di genre drama ada The Father, Mank, Nomadland, Promising Young Woman serta The Trial of the Chicago.

Sementara komedi, diisi film Borat Subsequent Moviefilm, Hamilton, Palm Springs, Music hingga The Prom.

Di sisi serial televisi, judul-judul yang diungguli ada Emily in Paris, The Flight Attendant, The Great, Schitt's Creek dan Ted Lasso.

Nominasi lain yang sayang dilewatkan adalah persaingan para bintang. Mark Rufallo menghadapi Ethan Hawke yang kabarnya masuk dalam jajaran MCU. Untuk jajaran aktris ada nama Lily Collins hingga Nicole Kidman.

Kategori lain yang sayang untuk dilewatkan adalah film maker. Tiga nama sutradara perempuan mendominasi.

Tiga nama yakni Emerald Fennell (Promising Young Woman), Regina King (One Night in Miami) dan Chloé Zhao (Nomadland) bersaing dengan dua nominator pria. Mereka adalah David Fincher (Mank) dan Aaron Sorkin (The Trial of the Chicago 7).

Pemenang Golden Globes akan dipilih Hollywood Foreign Press Associacons dan disiarkan di NBC.

Sebagai pemandu, Tina Fey dan Amy Poehler didapuk menjadi host. Keduanya juga sempat membawakan acara penghargaan tersebut pada 2013 hingga 2015.
